Agile methodology is a term used to describe an approach to project management, typically used in software development as well as across all other industries. The methods used in Agile project management all follow the Agile Manifesto, based on continuous improvement, flexibility, the input of the team, and the delivery of results with high quality.
Scrum is a simple yet powerful agile method, which can be applied to manage and control projects of all types. The Scrum method is becoming increasingly popular within the software development community, thanks to its simplicity, proven productivity, and ability to act as a wrapper for the engineering practices promoted by other agile methodologies.
Scrum can be beneficial for any organisation or department working on complex projects. From smartphone apps and managing logistics, through to planning events and building software, Scrum can offer the perfect solution.
Taking an Agile approach offers a whole host of benefits for organisations of all sizes, working across all sectors
The Pakistan Agile Scrum Exchange (PASE) is a place for Agilists to meet and network with like-minded professionals from across Pakistan and develop their Agile and Scrum skills. The term ‘PASE’ has its origins in Bullfighting, referring to a manoeuver by a bullfighter using the capa or muleta to capture the attention of the bull and guide the course of its attack. This is somewhat reflective of the nature of the Pakistan Agile Scrum Exchange as we seek to use our knowledge and understanding of Agile and Scrum to capture the attention of organisations across Pakistan and help them use it to guide the course of its business activities.
